Raima is a famous paper shops in Barcelona. Every two years it hosts a poster competition, and the winner is displayed on the cover of its widely-distributed calendar. The topic for 2008 was “music and paper”. My proposal was to make the word “Raima” by using instruments in the form of little shapes. Moreover, there would be no drawing, no paint, no computer graphics; the entire poster would simply be made of hundreds of little pieces of paper like the little sounds that form a song.
I called the poster “alfabet de papers” (the alphabet of paper) because Raima is like a dictionary where you can find any type of paper imaginable. |
