Who cares!
Inspired by the Spanish song “A quien le importa!” from the 1980s band Alaska and Dinamara, I used brush and oil colours to design a typeface where each letter is a unique style. When combined together, the letters are transformed into an illustration, much like a mosaic. The end effect is an image when seen from afar and a legible message when viewed up close. My poster won the Art Bellow "Making connections poster competition" and was displayed at the Liverpoll Street Station in London during Christmas 2010. |
